Long Trail House - Stratton Mountain

I just returned from a 3 night stay at the Long Trail House (South Building Room 372). The location could not be more convenient if you plan on skiing at Stratton as you are a quick 5-10 minute walk from slopes as well as many stores and restaurants. The housekeeping staff is very thorough and do an excellent job. The rooms are also quite roomy and spacious. The underground parking garage is also very convenient as well, especially on icy/snowy days. The reason I deducted one star is due to the following minor issues that I believe for the high cost need to be addressed. The room had a dated TV that wasn't high definition and did not have any smart streaming functionality. The kitchen could use more glasses and dishes. For instance, there were only 4 coffee cups, two of which were very small in size. The building's common room/lobby room had the furniture removed and never had the fireplace going. Lastly, the hot tubs were either closed or not hot enough for our liking when we tried to use them. While I would certainly stay here again I think these need to be addressed.

Stayed 1 night while on a group bus tour. The condos are individually owned. My condo was awesome! Highly recommend. Great location too.

This is my favorite place to stay at Stratton. Heated underground parking, sauna, hot tub and heated pool all accessible without going outside. It’s also the closest condos to the village and it’s an easy walk to the ski lifts. Stayed here twice this winter and both times it was great.

We stayed here during Wanderlust because it was the only option on the mountain that had a kitchen. The room itself was fine, the Murphy bed was comfortable but because of the layout, you cannot walk through the room with it pulled out. One of the best things about staying here is the location -- you are right in the center of all of the activities and locations during Wanderlust. This was huge, as it gave us a "homebase" to pause in between our busy schedules. The sauna and pool were also a plus. If you're coming for Wanderlust, this is a great option.

Just a few cosmetics need to be addressed. Like coat hangers need to be screwed back into wall, ceiling needs to be checked due to a few brown lrg colored cracks which leaves to believe water damage from room above, garage needs to change into a one-way. The garage is not big enough to fit today's vehicle's going in two-way direction, specially when you reach the middle part where both buildings meet. It's great for if everyone was driving a Prius but I drive a Chevy 2500 and my truck takes up a lot of space. I had to close both mirrors when someone tried to squeeze by me coming up to a turn, because God forbid someone with a smaller vehicle could wait a few seconds or simply backup to make room. It was my first time staying in Long trail so I had no idea the garage was that tight.

For an olderish building the room was great. It had everything we needed, it was very nice and very comfortable. It's also in an absolutely perfect location. We would definitely recommend it for any time of the year.

We had a fantastic experience at long trail. The one bedroom suite had everything we needed for a three day stay. The housekeeping and all support staff was very friendly and provided anything we requested. The hot tubs and pool were clean. We would highly recommend.

These are great multibed/bathroom units. Obviously set up for skiing, but great for a family leaf peeping trip. Clean and cozy with room to spread out or just hang out together. Very comfortable and relaxed location.
